Anyone still plays this old classic? It's like BoB2 WoV but in a strategy game! It has a superb campaign mode, pilots gain ranks and skills in a rpg fasion




and you control everything from isometric view in turn based combat.


Planes can have engine failuers, there a g-stalls, banking, altitude etc. All real life tactics apply! Meaning with 190 you will want to boom n zoom and with spitfires dogfight.

Campaign starts in 39 and lasts till 43. You can fly for RAF Luftwaffe or French.



There is even an dynamic BoB in 40's



This reminds me of Battle of Britain 2 Wings of victory but in strategy mode ! very fun.

I highly suggest to everyone who has not yet played this to give this fantastic game a go.

As I said in the oother post, great game. SO was Over the Reich, both based on a superb boardgame.

They don't make games like that anymore. A flight combat game for those who aren't good or don't like sims or even love sims.
