It's obvious that there are only going to be 2 kinds of people after the zombie apocalypse... Those with silenced .22LR rifles (and large stockpiles of .22LR) and those without! eek2

Maybe they are faster after a fresh feeding? Maybe in Atlanta they were too hungry/weak to be fast, but maybe at the highschool they had some fresh meat?

I dunno, you can get to the point of overthinking zombie movie plots very quickly and without much effort!

Interesting how Daryl is fast becoming my favorite character after not liking him much at all to begin with. Wonder when Merle will make another appearance?

Click to reveal..
I want to see the big reveal soon. That doctor at the CDC tested them all and said "no surprises" about the blood tests. At the end he whispered something to Rick that Rick wasn't happy about, and that the end was inevitable or something.
I'm thinking they're all infected or carriers, and if they die or get too sick they'll go zombie nation. I'd keep a close eye on T-Dog and Carl.
Wondering if that transfusion between Rick and Carl will work in there as good or bad in that respect too.

Honestly I was thinking Darrel might have to to be put down, now I am feeling he maybe intergal to their survival. I wonder when thye are going to start thinking long term instead of just survival.
I have to say I am enjoying this show and am quite surprised by how well acted it is. I find some things not well thought out, like the fema thing with a lot ambulances just sitting there. I personally would have thought they would have at least look thru them then maybe gone for the supply shed.

I thought they were going to set off a police siren as a distraction, not just flares. Maybe it was too close by. A big fire from a flare in a gas tank might have lasted longer too. I guess it's easier when you aren't 20' from 50 zombies. LOL

Excellent. Basically only 8 episodes into the entire show and it's already going to go 3 seasons. thumbsup

Well, I just got around to watching the season 2 opener last night. I didn't think it could get any better than the previous series but wow - that was seriously the best slice of TV I've had in months. I love that the zombies seem to have a little bits of smarts to them.

I'm not sure why it's inconsistent with the walker/runner zombies, but I like it since it adds to the tension of not knowing what kind of zombie they might run into. While I have always prefered the Romero type zombies to the uber zombies in the Dawn of the Dead remake, I can understand why they decided to mix it up. Romero type zombies work great in films but would probably lose their scare factor real fast in a weekly TV series.

Now Atlanta has some runners and of all things climbers too, check out last seasons episode "Guts" when they stole the box van at the construction site. Some of those zombies scaled that 12' chain link fence like it was nothing.

The one thing I'm really waiting for since there seem to be all these M1 Abrams lying around is for one of the survivers to take one for a test drive WinkNGrin

or even just sit in the tank using the coax machinegun, safe and sound, dispatching hundreds of Z's...who cares if they hear the shots, it'll save you time!
