Normally I would agree, but someone must have put Dale in charge of the weapons (probably Rick), probably for security and ammo conservation issues. But after seeing what Shane almost did, Andreas stupid little sniper stunt, and Carls stealing a handgun I don't see anything changing soon.

I was soooo glad he died as he was becoming a liability. You cannot expect to live like 'it used to be' and expect everyone else in the world who wants to take what's yours to just say 'oh ok we'll leave them alone'.

I`ll bet little Carl will go out find the gun he stole and lost where the zombie attacked him and comes
back with it and shoots the kid in the barn in the final episode.

I thought he was going to shoot him in this episode when he first sneaked in (before Shane caught him)

Love this show.

Looking at getting the comic compendium from Amazon: Amazon

Thats the other thing why didn't someone go down and kill the zombies standing in the water. Why don't the make sure there is nothing with in a mile of the farm maybe.

I presume Carl did not tell him he found them because he was not supposed to be there and he lost a gun there?

I've been avoiding this thread all week until I could finally crank up the dvr. LOL
Great episode! Agreed on Carl, I thought he was going to walk up and pop the guy, like C Thomas Howell's character did emotionlessly back in Red Dawn.

Carl's becoming as annoying as his mother now. Things always happen when someone goes solo, hard to believe they still do that. LOL
I'm a little disappointed that they've spent the entire season at that farm. I keep expecting a herd to finally move through there, forcing them to leave. I guess that other camp will come looking for them before the walkers.

Click to reveal..
Too bad about Dale, that's a horrible way to go.
They should've put him down without talking about it in front of him to make it faster and easier on him.
VERY interesting that Rick has 3 times now been unable to kill for the group, now even when it was one of them suffering without hope.
Daryl quickly stepping up and Rick handing over his gun seemed symbolic.

Maybe next season will be T-Dog's turn to have some lines. Poor guy's just getting dragged along with no development.

I am WAY stoked for Michonne and especially THE GOVERNOR for next season.

Anyone who reads the books know TWD is primarily Rick's story. Assuming the show will follow the tone of the book, Rick is going to turn into a man possessed with keep the group alive. All other concerns fall before that end. ALL other concerns.

I think his reluctance to kill is just a dramatic setup to ensure the transformation is not lost on the viewer.

I LOVE this show smile
