I noted the subtle hint. Do the volunteers absolutely, positively 'have' to be ambitious? How about just gullible and slow witted? I'd qualify for that and Dux will be reasonably sober in a few hours. What does the work actually entail?
Well, if all goes well, v2.12 will have a slightly enhanced help function in the campaign screen
to accompany the new campaign functionality. At that point, I will hopefully have enough of a
handle on how the file is edited to entertain the idea of a significant augmentation. The question
is then, if one were playing a campaign, what sort of additional information would one like to
be able to pull up from inside the campaign screen to help with decisions? Is there any text that
could be cribbed from the manual which would be of use there, or anything else? I don't know if
I would be able to manage images, that will have to be determined. One possibility would be a
section of information specific for the Single Pilot Campaign, which is currently completely
unsupported in the help file. All this is still contingent on me successfully convincing the
current edits to fold themselves into the game properly; this seems to be going well, but there
is always the possibility of surprises. Anyway, if I am successful, the way should be clear to
contemplate this as a project for v2.13.
