Very nice build. Did you say 6.8 was the calbre? I am thinking for my hunting AR to get the 6.8 spc from Ruger.

Originally I was going with 6.8 but wound up doing 556. May build a 6.8 upper later. I have another stripped lower I need to put together too.

Tell us a little about the barrel and what you have hung on the front of it.

It's a sabre defense 11.5 inch hammer forged barrel with a 1:7 twist. The flash suppressor is a Noveske KX3 "Flaming Pig". The rail is rifle length made by YHM.

OMG! Look at that beautiful frieze carpet! I'm guessing it is a 35-45oz carpet face. Pair that with a 8-10lb carpet pad and you have absolute heaven to walk on! What is that bad boy? Mohawk Grand Portege in 'Rumcake', or is it Stainmaster Luxerell in 'Nature's Harmony'? What is the twist rate on those loops? 4? 6?
Simply stunning.

Oh and nice AR rifle there too.

Nice, Jerry. I'm sure I've put this up before, but I LOVE Sabre Defense....Well, before they were liquidated/auctioned/sold anyway..now I have no idea how they are but I know your build/barrel was from before then so you're good!

That's where I've got my M4s from!

Bill, you crack me up!

What's sad, Speedo, is that I knew it was called frieze, not 'shag' carpet. Spending waaaay too much time remodeling this house.

Jerry, is that Optic the Aimpoint T1, or the H1??
