I've been able to install and play Stronghold: Crusader, on my new rig, but I can't get past the autorun with Stronghold. I hit install and it pauses for a second, then nothing happens. I've downloaded the latest patches from the website, but it doesn't help. The same thing happens on my Vista laptop. Does anyone know of a way I can get it to run?

I've got stronghold running on my vista laptop, works 100%. Didn't even have to use compatibility mode at all. Are you 32 bit or 64 bit OS?

hmm maybe that's the problem, my vista system is 32bit.

you might have to right-click on the setup.exe and choose Run as Administrator.

I looked through every folder, and while I found several files titled setup, none were exe. I tried opening them all anyway, but got nowhere. And I never saw an option to run as admin.
