Still using the free version, I was just wondering what a full version will give? It says longer recording and no watermarks in the website, anything else?

I'm also thinking of maybe making some tutorial videos later on, I remember most people use FRAPS to capture video, but what other software would I need (for editing, voice overs, etc.)?

Thanks!

With MSI afterburner you can also record in game footage (even with a compression if wanted).

That's pretty much it...longer recording no watermark etc. I use Sony movie studio for editing since WMM sucks.

I personally won't touch any Sony products. About eight years ago I got some Sony hardware for doing high quality audio capture (a microphone recorder for sampling ambient sounds) - I also had to use Sony's proprietary software. I rebooted the computer part way through the installation. Little did I know that it was in the process of embedding a copy-protection/DRM system within core operating system files. As a result the operating system was permanently ruined. I lost the laptop and was forced to borrow a computer for several months... Just an FYI - why I don't like copy protection or Sony.

Any suggestions regarding alternatives?
