Hi, I just bought some Cougar MFD's and they really added to the immersion of My Virtual Pit.. I also found a Cougar HOTAS to add to the pit vs my current X52.. I am looking to get an external monitors small ones LCD TFT kind and get Working MFD's , RWR, DED and HSI.. I found some good pits over at viperpits.org and that has inspired me to build a pit of sorts instead of the Virtual One I know use.. Here are some shots of the pit in action with BMS 4.3: By the_nephilim at 2011-09-17 By the_nephilim at 2011-09-17 By the_nephilim at 2011-09-17 By the_nephilim at 2011-09-17 By the_nephilim at 2011-09-17 By the_nephilim at 2011-09-17

OK I am going to be making notes here for my own reference.. I decided to make most of my panels out of TFT Monitors be sort of generic / real.. here is the current part list: 1. RWR= 1 - 5.0" TFT VGA... http://www.ebay.com/itm/VGA-AV-contorlle...=item336bd5baa31a. that comes out to about 4.5" Diagonal for the RWR.. 2. MFD= 2 - 8" TFT VGA.. http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-8-VGA-AV-TFT-LCD...=item1e63a4289b3. HSI Center console= 1 - 10.2 TFT VGA may wanna go bigger in size??? may need to get 4-8" 1024x768 rez monitors because of the TH2Go units need to run the same rez?? I just need to take measurments in the Cockpit to make a generic panel.. I am going to try and make the side left right panels realistic with Panels and Buttons and to get them working in game.. Does anyone have the dimensions of the F16 pit??

well I bought the 2 TFT monitors 4.5" + 3.5". I should have just bnought the 1 for now till I find out If I can get it working but no matter I can alway resell on ebay if I can't get them woerking.. I also heard that the MFDE Program is getting an upgrade and will have Functional MFD's in BMS Now my question is since I am running low on VGA Connections, say I bought another Video card would I be able to use the 2nd VGA for a 2nd Matrox TH2go Unit and the other 2 VGA sots in the 2nd card for more external moniotrs?? Or will I need to get some USB Monitors for the MFD's and HSI Panel?? Will the MFD's work wih a USB Monitor and MFDE??

Nice setup you've got there...are those triple front projectors? Can't think of any other way to not have bezels between the screens.
Did you get your Cougar yet? THNX, I am in the Process of getting FULLY Functional MFD's, RWR & DED. yes they are Front Projection.. I have the Throttle and bought the stick I will be getting hopefully by the end of the wekk.. CAN't WAIT!! I also have the parts on order from thrustmaster too..

Pots spiking? As long as you're resigned to replacing them, you should try this: Control/Contact cleaner and lube. Spray it right into the pots, rotate them around a bit, and BLAM! Pots work like new. That's how I fixed the rotation on my X52 and all the pots on my Logitech Extreme 3D Pro.

OK New Idea not sure if it will work.. I want to add more external TFT Monitors small in the 5"-7" Range and was wondering if I would be able to add a nVidia GeForce 260 vid card to the mix. I do NOT want to SLI it just to have the flexibility of more Ports to add external monitors without the cost of a Matrox TH2Go??
I currently have slots for 2 more PCIe slots.. If I can add the 2 extra cards to my current system that will give me 6 ports for external monitors.. should do it..
So I currently have a 480GTX and would like to know If I can add the 2nd and 3rd cards in my system two 260's??

Hi, I remember a while back I wanted three monitors and added a PCI video card to my system (3Ghz P4, 2G ram etc). I eventually swapped it back to the AGP card only which gave me two outputs. As I remember it the system throttles the graphics back to the slowest card (in this case the PCI). It was a very noticable change. As I say, this was a while back and newer cards may be faster. Can somebody confirm this or tell me I'm talking mince Cheers, Andy
