Heyho folks,

I have a problem with ArmA 2 OA and the Flaps Shortcuts in conjunction with the SST software. The Flaps shortcuts are RCrtl-K and RCtrl-L by default, on a german keyboard atleast, and they work fine ingame, however when I programm them into the SST software They don´t function. It seems that way with most multi-key shortcuts and even macros, advanced Commands work, however only if the sequences are based on a single-key shortcut.

Is this a common problem with ArmA 2 and is there any way to fix it?

SST Software used is 6.6.6.9. Windows 7 64 ArmA 2 OA 1.59

Clear skies and many happy landings

I think I remember that this is an issue with the 'RCtrl' bit... try remapping the flaps keys in ArmA to something with LCtrl, then change the SST mapping. Shot in the dark.

Thanks Tao, I tried an advanced command with the mousewheel and the third mouse button, got me a system crash. Well ArmA 2 went nuts and when I tried to shut down ArmA 2 it kept starting new instances, I made a hard reset after number 12! WinkNGrin

edit: I just tried it with the Flaps commands set as Lcrtl-L and Lctrl-K It didn´t work with the SST either. I think I´ll just shelve this idea.

Instead you can just map the stick buttons in ArmA. ArmA will crash if you add or remove a joystick device while it is running... picky, picky game.

Yep It´s making more of a headache out of it than BMS. biggrin I think I´ll go about it that way. Strangely I could add the Landing Gear combo with RCtrl-G. Welcome to the whacky world of profile programming. chili wink

Just forget SST. I use my X-52 the other way round. The only button programmed into the X-52 by the SST is the Fire button C acting as the Track IR centering button. Everything else is programmed in the ARMA II options-Controls section. Just go to whatever function you want to assign to any button, click on the function, then just push the button you want to assign it to. Sorry if I'm missing something, dunno if you tried this before. Works flawless.
