LukeFF Amasser of Mosins Hotshot Registered: 06/11/01 Posts: 9069 Loc: Riverside, California, USA	I'm looking to upgrade my CPU and have narrowed it down to the 2600 chip. When I compared the 2600 and 2600K on Newegg, I noticed no difference in specs other than the price. So, what is the actual difference between these two chips?

That's how so many are running it in the 4.5Ghz range and the suicide run guys are running it in the 5Ghz range. That, and about the only parts I sell anymore are old video cards.

Just typing in the new multiplier in the BIOS (for my CPU exchanging 34 with 45), done. You don't even need to do it in Bios.
