oh..and i found some interssting clue books for other games i liked (Shadowcaster, Bioforge and Terra Nova...)

So sorry, Flyboy, I sometimes can't resist! Well over a year ago I suffered a hard drive failure. The aging ATI 9800 Pro card in my aging PC then began to fail. I acquired a hand-me-down PC from my daughter after last Christmas when we built her a new quad-core desktop. Thing is, none of my gameport HOTAS stuff worked with it because the PC only had USB ports. I only recently acquired USB HOTAS gear and began the long walk back to sim country. I've been getting reacquainted with IL-2 recently and haven't ventured into reloading Longbow. It's on my to-do list, but shaking off the cob webs is taking longer than I expected. I'll be visiting your site for guidance when I get my whirlybird geek on, for sure. 'til then, happy hunting!

And of course, Spectre, if you get lost on my website or need help with any unique circumstances that arise - I'll be glad to help on a one-to-one basis too.
