McG, PV1,

Thanks for suggestions/instructions. I'll try that over the weekend.

Folks,

Dux:

As has been my custom for these many years; I wish to give you a 'heads up' and congratulate you and your bride on the up coming red letter day. I believe that it will be your 17th and may you celebrate many, many more my friends.

JRT,

Thanks, old pal. Once again you have saved me from several uncomfortable nights in the potting shed. yep

We were at Crewe again today in baking temps of up to 90f. Summer is well and truly here at last but for how long...well, we can continue to hope.

Return email shortly.

By the way, nice job on that Pfalz demi-sesquiplane conversion there sport!

You've inspired me to go up an waffle around for a bit myself, see what I can see. If I don't make it back then help yourself to my kit but leave the gramophone records in my footlocker alone, the world isn;t ready for Iggy Pop quite yet, might scare the horses and make the vicar drop his monocle.

Thanks JB. Would be interesting to peruse your combat reports. Try Arras again. It's gone quiet over there since you incinerated that trio of Hunnish rotters. Pip-pip and good luck!

(Thinks....How to get to Jimmy's locker before our loyal squadron pals?)

Gents,

A dashed uncalled-for dig in TV Magazine this week. They are on about top TV programmes of past years.

The fifties based Darling Buds of May drew 17 million viewers a week in 1991 and Catherine Zeta-Jones played Marietta Larkin.

It went on to say that was before she quit Britain to look after the elderly in Hollywood.

Folks,

Dux:

Caring for the elderly? LOL! I understand he met her on the "Zorro" set. His famous dad, Kirk, has a new book out and a video too.

Gothcher e-mail pal. I hope it is 17 going on at least another 100. Today would have been our 41st. I am celebrating the 14,870 happy days we had together.
