biggrin Indeed! It's a bit unclear which it is exactly, since one search on F-ALIM gives a 290, another the 293.

I found a bigger picture of the small one I posted. It was indeed the old Amsterdam/Schiphol/EHAM building:

According to one source, FBA was a joint Franco/Brit company? It was a dumpy looking job but prettier than our dear old Walrus! wink

I bet if you ask any airman who had a dunk in the Channel and was picked up by seaplane what the world's prettiest aircraft was, he'd answer "Walrus"! smile

I'm sure that's true! smile Some of our chaps were even picked up by the He59; a welcome alternative to drifting out into the Atlantic and disappearing forever. Also, our Sea Otter. Similar to the Walrus but with a tractor prop.
