Chaps,
I want to buy a Mabuchi RS 550 motor as a replacement for the one in my Fanatec FFB wheel.. I presume i need to buy the exact replacement if i suspect that mine is dodgy.

Does anyone have any idea where i can get one from in the UK.

I believe THIS is a link to the specs page of the motor.

Cheers
Meurig

I think after 2 solid days of googling and emails being sent i may have to give up on this.

I can find plenty of RS 550 and RS 555 motors but none of them with dual shafts as required for my use. Unless anyone can point me toward somewhere i may have missed i think i will have to call it a day on this.

Thanks for all the assistance chaps.

Marcus.

You tried going into Antics on St Mary Street or modelzone in StDavids 2 and asking if one can be ordered in ? or one of a simular spec ?
RS or Maplin might be of use as well ?

Dual shafts? You mean that there are two free-floating shafts, one inside another? The page you linked to looks like at "standard" 550-type motor that I used to see when I dabbled in R/C stuff back in the day.

If it really is a speed-550 type of motor, then you might be able to use a 3rd party replacement as long as the power/current/voltages are similar, in which case I'd suggest somewhere like Hobby Stores.

Pardon my ignorance if I'm way off-base.
