Well it seems I am in the minority when this happens, but unfortunately I can't get past this to play the SP campaign... I've tried re-programming and re-installing the game... still no luck when it says to hold the left shift key to control breathing... in the video you can hear it still breathing... recommendation? Tripwire? (I'm e-mailing this to them.)

In the video it doesn't look like your left-shift key is bound properly, i.e.

- Hit rmb to iron sights.

- When you hit left-shift to get 'additional breathing control' then the screen should zoom in about 10% more.

I'm not seeing the additional zoom on the video?

Only other thing I can think of is that you're holding down left-shift while you rmb to iron sights, and maybe do it as two steps just for this training test, i.e. iron sights no-shift, and then press it.

I know Magnum is a southpaw, did you remap the keys?

I have the exact same issue but at the time I had a programmable keypad connected so have to try it without that connected still.

Magnum, I think you might have the "Disable Sprint Key Zoom" box in the Game Options checked. I don't know why that option is there but it not only disables zooming but also the breathing control (i just tested it).

BTW, Meatshield is right ... the bots are really dumb but they do make for good target practice.

That must be it because I selected to disable zooming when running too. It still zooms when running anyway so will uncheck it.

Played a SP mission after training, (and BTW I thought the training was simple, good, and accurate... after fixing my problem, Training was a breeze), I guess the SP is good practice but hated that I would die from someone I never saw, and respawn into an AI not knowing where I was and also in the middle of getting shot... run and cover is key.

Now to get some MP going... will be on for some MP Sat mid day give or take and Sunday night for a while... before the Good Wife comes on. lol
