How do I join the server? I see no area to enter the IP to directly connect to it?

Can't get it to show up on my browser :/

press ` to open your console and type open XX.XX.XX.XX

This has always worked for unreal engine games so it probably works for this one.

I didn't initially see the SimHQ server, but realized I had changed my server filters (i.e. not to show empty etc). It might be worth resetting your filters if you see other servers but not the SimHQ one.

I plan on trying it out tonight, maybe I'll hop on the SimHQ server!

I know and it was not me having the dload issue, it was Dirt_Diver.

That means you have been selected to be able to bump someone off their superior weapon in the next round and use it yourself if you select accept.

This worked. I joined and it was a Fire Fight game mode with 0 players.

Through-out the day/evening people join, see 0 or 1 players and then leave - sort of a chicken and egg problem

I saw that "been selected for a: " message too last night, but as it was just me and Panzer on the server there was no superior weapon for me to take!

All in all I'll say the game needs some updates. However, their track record with RO1, adding tons of maps and features as well as bug fixes over the years, doesn't leave me worried in the slightest. The only negative is the game as it currently stands isn't really what I wanted out of RO2, so I'll have to wait awhile until it is.

Just last night there was a 200+MB update to it, and I think we'll see plenty in the coming weeks.
