The narrirator is funny, and the comments true... also watch the cliff interview in the middle, it's cuts of past interviews made about his EGO... funny...

Thats just ridiculous, GoW3 hasn't even been released yet and their 28 DLC items from weapons to weapon skins. What 60 bucks ain't enough? All should of been included in game!


GoW3 season pass, 2400 points, thats double the usual. GoW3 is becoming, in my eyes, the biggest rip off in gaming history. IMO

3600 points for all weapon skin packs... thats more then an XBL arcade game!

Going to buy it, play through the campaign then maybe play horde a few times. No way will I pay for any of that.

I'm on the3 second chapter on act 1. It's fun, feels very polished, really like the combat mechanics.

So far I've gotten through chapter 4 act 1 and I agree with Maverick. Very smooth controls!! Really enjoying campaign so far. I especially like the banter and sarcasm of the gears series. It can really be hilarious at times.

Can't wait to try some co-op and horde mode. Not as excited to get into MP. The gears games have always been very frustrating for me in MP because I really really really suck at it!

Gamespot gave it a solid 9.5 rating.

Unfortunately, I think I have to pass on this. I'll be lucky to play it for a few weeks, at most. Then Forza 4 comes out and then BF3 two weeks later.

If I had a few extra bucks I'd do it but I just can't spare the cash right now.

Actually, I agree Leemz... if your not really into this game with others coming out, it might be worth passing on... or maybe rent it or borrow it one day for the campaign.

That said... I love the new Horde 2.0 mode, very well done and tuned greatly, also that beats mode is quite good and different, humans are trapped in an area and you pick your "beasts" and try and kill the humans... IE: kinda like playing the zombies in left for dead, each beasts has a cool power.

I tried MP for about 15 mins, got my ass handed to me, never got one kill, lol.

I won't start the campaign for a day or two, when I have more time... SO NO SPOILERS! wink


BTW; how #%&*$# up is it to pay 60 bucks for this game; to find that the VIP pass is NOT included, for that you have to pay 30 bucks more... just to play on more maps and more modes... M$ really screwed us gamers on this one. IMO

Yes Mag that is really Messed up ! With My gaming season coming up (summer work almost done), I had thought about getting this one to wet my shooter tastebuds , but the whole VIP pass thing not included just kills this for me.

With BF3 right around the turn, I'll probably hold off till that.

I am very much looking forward to some SimHQ saturdays this fall and winter !
