and you guys say consoles suck, lol, at least you can play within minutes. wink

It's unreal engine, open the console and type "open [server ip]" (no quotes) and see if you can connect.

I got in... played a few rounds with FearlessFrog, had a great hid and seek session... maps and gameplay is GREAT... small team... 10 on 10 or so will be great IMO... remember it's a "realistic" server... so no info UNLESS you hit the T (tactical) key... will then show you what you need to know. I like it.

It was great fun as a quick test. Apologies for swapping sides like that and you shooting me smile I wanted to test the in-game voip lol

I'll be on TeamSpeak later once I can play properly at home. We can play with the orders menu and some of the roles stuff they have - some maps really need good fire support to get anywhere and the suppression mechanic is pretty neat.

Can you give me a direct IP address so I can connect? The in game browser does not work for me, so this is the only way I would be able to connect. And is this an American server?

I hate the word "realistic", thats just what their settings are called for "hardcore mod".

Tactical, in that you usually die if you make a mistake (waving your head around up high, not checking corners or rushing into an unclear building usually ends badly for example) and that a squad with a plan and good comms will nearly always win.

It's sort of mid-way between ArmA and BFBC2 for me, probably similar to BF2:PR, in that the best games are with people that enjoy the squad play more than the kills.
