Err...well..sort of. Lord Vader (Kai) wanted one..and this is just his size. It is actually a composter. It came in a million segments and I was actually quite impressed with the engineering that made it all come together quite easily (90 minutes with a hammer and screwdriver)... It sits on a base with rollers so all you have to do is add your scraps each day and give it a spin to turn over the ingredients. The air tubes go deep into the orb to provide air for the composting process. The soil it makes will go into our veggie garden (which hasn't actually been planted yet..might be a spring project..)..

Now to keep Kai from crawling inside of it to roll around on the lawn... reading

"Normal" people build a tree house for their kid.

Not that there's anything wrong with a Death Star.

Will it have a working death ray?

Don't lose track and forget about him. You wouldn't want to pull the lid off and find him composted.

Cheers!

After reading this article I think growing your own food is probably the best thing you can do for your kid Beach.

It will. And it will be invincible because we parked it next to our house and we have a defensive shield projected from the home unit (security light)...

What about the SMELL, composting is quite the adventure in odors. Worked a temp job in High School breaking open
grass filled bags at a compost site. Talk about a job to remember, The smell alone when ripping open a bag of grass
that has fermented in the sun for a couple weeks. Was a one day job, and the longest in my career. Would have preferred
dealing with week old dead bodies. Yes I have been there to.

That's a good question. We'll see how that goes. We have a couple acres our house sits on..so if need be, it can be relocated. The next neighbor over has a dog kennel that sits right up against our property line. I think that would be a good place for it..
