Cool. The design style is called Microsoft Metro, i.e. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metro_(design_language)

It brings together there look and feel for Windows Phone 7, Xbox 360 and Windows 8 - they will all feature this same style of 'interest squares' and lots of sliding around.

It's an acquired taste, and at least gets them far away from XP 'Fisher Price' blue. smile
