I found my F4-disc! Imagine I had yet another box full of gaming stuff ... also found my strike fighters 1 disc, sub command disc, il2 demo disc!, i-War and Apache/Havoc.

Got it installed and running with not probs, except the graphics suck! The Vid of BMS is NOTHING like what I see.I have a high end system with lots of VRAM and System RAM with I7's (quad). All Sliders maxed! The FA18 pit is "bad". Any ideas

I have a set up question, I can not find the nws button in the controller set up. I must be missing it when I go thru the set up.

@oldpop: canŽt tell, mine is quite identical to the vid.

Try this, when you lauch the game it appears a menu with things like start game, documentation, options and such.
click on option (mind it may have a different name but still something to do with that or settings, try...) and youŽll get a bunch of other ... well... options about campaign, simulation, special effects and graphic.

YouŽll have to enable them to get the candy.

As for the F18 cockpit, well itŽs either like that (falcon was mainly about F16) orwait for an extra patch...

Set the graphics card to use application settings - ie dont force AA/AF on the profile for this.

Look for "Wpn-Missile Hardpoints Cycle"

Map this on stick as it controls NWS in NAV and in AG mode it will cycle CCIP/CCRP/DTOS

Intel i7, ATI HD5770, 6GB RAM, Win7 x64, Track IR 5, 1080p res - no stutter in the performance at all - and everything seems to just work (after finding the right settings) - DCS A-10C didn't manage that on my system!

I lost my F4 disk a while back (I had bought the later edition with the abbreviated "pilot's notes" manual). At a garage sale not too long ago I picked up another copy that had the full manual. Glad I did!
