Hello,

I have a Leo Bodnar usb card and I'd like to build a panel with it. I'm flying IL-2. I purchased a lot of toggle switches but I think I got the wrong type. They are ON-ON toggles. For what can I use these? Gear up & gear down is the only obvious function that leaps to mind.

I also have a ON-OFF-ON switch. Any suggestions for what I can do with it?

Thanks in advance for help to guide a button panel innocent.

Cheers,

Flying Colander

You could just use one side of the ON-ON switches, to get ON-OFF functionality.

ON-OFF-ON : maybe "left"-"both"-"right" engine selector?

Thanks guys for the response. I didn't know that I could wire an ON-ON switch to use it as on ON OFF! That saved me a lot of headache. I am also learning to use a multimeter and it's a valuable tool for figuring out one's wiring.

For you novices out there: The ON-ON switch has three terminals at the bottom of the switch.

If you wire the left and center you'll get an ON-OFF connection. Center to right terminal does the same.
