I'm getting alot of Questions via e-mail and PM's... please understand that I can not answer some of those questions... still under beta agreement... but I will say that anything you can (and can't do) in ArmA2 is pretty much the same here, minus features... like a mission editor (so there will be tons of after released mission content), and I imagine but not confirmed... mods like new unit and land masses can and probably will be made my talented modders.

The gameplay is very much tuned... but it's still the same interface (that few of you always complain about... but I always thought was pretty good), and the AI remains questionable at times... not as bad as the early days of ArmA2 where they could snip you with a MP-5 300 yards away, lol... but still not perfect and a weakness.

Armor is GREAT, very well done... the best features IMO... I couldn't fly worth a crap in the beta, so can't really say to much about that.

But the bottom line... if you like the WW2 setting, and if you like the ArmA2OA gameplay and engine... then this game will blow you away.

See you on our SimHQ server by months end. wink

What is the release date? Is it available for purchase on Steam yet (preload)?

I already have plans for a Storch mod with an artillery module available to the pilot/observer if I can get it to work smile

How are the tank gun controls? Is it still the FPS style as in ARMA2 or is it done like in steel beasts? With this I mean, do you control the speed of the turret with the mouse (as you would with a joystick) or does the turret only move when you move the mouse (requiring a mile wide mouse mat to track a moving vehicle)? The tank gunning in the video above looks very jerky so I assume it's still FPS style.

Have they done anything to the vehicle command interface? I always found giving orders to the crew and other vehicles very cumbersome in previous arma titles. Basically I'm after controlling my driver by either clicking in the terrain or pressing a single key (wasd) and also controlling my gunner by assigning targets or manually directing the turret.
