Some photos from at least two photographers who attended the show. A really nice look at some Russian aircraft that I don't think people in the West, or in the U.S. at least, ever get to see. Flankers and Fulcrums, of course, but also the T-50, some Mi-28s, and more.

Some cool jet photos but what really caught my eye was the I-16 and Mig-3 pics. Wish there were more.

Wow, drool!
That T-50 is a beast! Looks like a blend of the F-22 and the YF-23 if you ask me....
Hard to imagine a heat seeker not locking onto those tailpipes!

Now that is awesome. It kind of makes Farnborough look like a poodle, and I have a feeling that trade days aren't that much better. A lovely mix of military aircraft.

If you ever get a chance to go there, plan three days, and it's totally worth it.

But the downside is you are mostly fighting the sun unless you know the right people and some magic keywords to get access to the old unused Tower building on the sun side of the runway.

Still the coolest airshow I've ever been to. And Moscow isn't half bad either. If not for the new apartment and new job this summer I would have loved to be there again with the T-50.

Just a note that they've posted more photos at that link, on page 2, and have some nice ones of the T-50 flying in formation with a Su-34 and a Su-35.

'Just thought I'd update this thread to point out that the original thread has extended to 5 pages and has some great new additions, and there is another thread on the same site with photos from a different photographer:
