Noticed Achtung Panzer AND Steel Fury - Kharkov 1942 are both on Direct to Drive for $20. Recommendations on which to buy? Haven't read much about Achtung but I did read Magnums review of Kharkov.

Different games, really. If you want a tank sim, with some ability to command other units in your platoon, take Steel Fury. If you want a company-level command sim with no direct first person control of your tanks (or other units), take Achtung Panzer. AP is easily my favorite of the two, but I can see the appeal of Steel Fury, especially as it has quite a good modding scene. AP lacks this, as far as I know.

Both have demo versions, as far as I know. Give 'em a go!
