Hello all.

Here are some shots from today's air show at Selfridge ANGB, north of Detroit, Michigan. With disclaimer at the beginning that I'm not a great photographer and I'm using a Canon SX110is point and shoot, please enjoy.

Small world. I was lookin' for myself in your pics but I guess I was too hard to find w/ my SimHQ hat and all. I've got some pics as well, I'll post 'em as soon as I can.

That's me lookin' in the window.

Mrs. Brennus pointing an automatic weapon at me w/ my cousin and his girl in the background.

That's me givin' my little sister and her boyfriend some very important and very informative information on whatever it was we were lookin' at.

We left the air show @ ~2PM and the rain on the way home was practically tropical.

Nice photos, Brennus. Man, I missed that table with the rifles (with Mrs. Brennus in the shot). Didn't even see it. I did go to the other area, closer to the tanks, that had the M249, M2 and other weapons on display boards. Got to hold the M249, which was cool.

Thanks, I can't take credit for the pics though as Mrs. Brennus decided to take pics and allow me to just enjoy myself. This was my first air show and it was amazing. I could have spent the entire day just watchin' the B-17, B-25, F-16 and A-10's go through their ground checks and warm ups! I have a new appreciation for the logistics and technical engineering that must have gone into maintaining a fleet of B-17's, or any other bomber during WWII. It was actually quite the religious experience for me, and I would be lyin' if I said that I didn't regret, in the moment, not joining the navy (aviation) out of high school like I planned to.

I'm definitely goin' again next year...

you'll join the crowd of us soon, first you'll need a better camera, then a better lens and then start traveling around to hit other air shows... It's a sickness thumbsup
