As a matter of fact, I do know a solution!

Open the Catalyst Control Center for your Radeon card (right click on desktop).

Now go down to Gaming and click on "3D Application Settings".

In there, put a tick in "Use Application Settings" under SmoothVision HD Antialiasing.

Click the "Apply" button down at the bottom right and then exit.

Now launch the game. Doesn't that sky look better in blue?

It's a Radeon thing.

Now, does anyone know how to run the game at 1920x1080 instead of 1400x1050 which is the maximum offered in the setup utility?

Cheers!

Just discovered that you can still use antialiasing with beautiful blue skies if you change the type of antialiasing from "multisample" to "supersample". The game never looked better than at 1920 x 1080 with supersample AA!

Cheers!

I would love to reinstall B17 on my new computer (win7), but need the link to the Patch2.

At lease I remember that patch was all you needed as it contained Patch 1 also.

Any help will be appreciated.

I re installed and patched my copy and got it to run quite well on Win7 but one thing I get annoyed with is the slow ground graphics when you scroll around the outside view of the B17 at altitude. The graphics stutter from out of focus to into focus and it takes a second or two and is very noticable.I find this awfull and spoils my enjoyment of the sim.
Any one have a workaround or a fix for this please ?

No thats pretty much how the game engine renders ground textures. All I can really tell you is the better your CPU/GPU is the less time it seems to take. My system now renders the ground textures in less then a second.
cheers
