I haven't progressed much since I tend to get sidetracked with various games. LOL
Very nice game, a lot of fun and you have a cockpit view and can use a flight stick. Still (IMO) want to keep a mouse handy for the combat, but the throttle and buttons are a major benefit during that. Use the stick for navigation or long range fighting. I suspect later as you develop you might be able to use stick only, but time will tell. Navigation is pretty typical, jump to an area, do what you need and jump again. It's a nice and direct system.
Fun game and it's free, so it's not like you have to feel guilty if you don't spend time on it daily to get your money's worth out of it.
