I haven't been over there since just before the Ares 1-X launch, didn't realize the pad was that far along. I guess they'll finish 39B soon and then move over to do the same to 39A.

From what I saw over at nasaspaceflight.com, 39A is going to be mothballed, flight rate of SLS (or whatever will used at 39) won't be high enough to need 2 pads.
