I saw a short thread in the Archives but haven't seen any active threads and I could not figure out how to search prior to this post. First incident. Here I am flying along in a Spit over France when I check behind me only to see an 88 gaining on me clear and distinct (I mean close). Startled I swing around to try and get behind it only to realise, it has disappeared. It is no where in sight.

Second instance and I'm once more (this is a different day incidently) flying over France when I see specks of about 3 or 4 in the distance. I converge on these specks to find, once more, a flight of 4 88's. I swing in on them and fire at two of them seriously hitting one but I over shoot. I loo behind me but the 88's are gone and I have a 109 breathing cown my neck. What the HECK? Am I going crazy or is there something amiss here?

Ghost-planes are a big issue online currently. So are ghost-ships. I flew with a sqadmate and we were attacking the same ship - at least we thought so. We found that the ship was displayed in completely different positions on his and on my screen. I thought he was shooting at the water. Hopefully they are working on these issues. On small maps I think it is less of a problem but I might be wrong.

Only time similar happened to me was in dogfight with Spits vs my Stuka. A Spit passed me vertically, I lost him, paused the game and scanned the skies but he had vanished.

I have seen this as well only they weren't identifiable, just dots that would disappear as I closed only to reappear behind me.
