Hog pilots, I put this list together for a friend and thought to share it here.

With the current v1.1.0.9 I've not modified the program files for things like use mouse with mic menues, mic menu sizes or a 'little bit' of gain in target boxes like what was done in v1.1.0.8.

To revert Keyboard and/or Joystick assignments to Defaults -
Delete the Keyboard.lua file in - \Saved Games\DCS Warthog\Config\Input\A-10C\keyboard\Keyboard.lua
For Joystick see - DCS A-10C Forums

Set the Warthog or Cougar Stick Paddle Switch as a Modifier. You can Name it Paddle Switch. For Cougars, use the Stick Pinky Switch for Nosewheel Steering/Laser/Air Refueling functions to be like the Warthog.

Shifted Master Mode Switch - T LCntrl (Trim Reset)

I am using the shifted Trim/POV Hat Switch for external views -
Forward - F1
Up Left - Alt F1
Left - F2
Down - F5
Right - F10
I have some others in there, too, like F6 & F7, since it's an 8 position switch.

Use the *shifted* TMS and DMS for internal cockpit views -
TMS Forward - Cntrl 0
TMS Forward gets into and out of the following TMS & DMS shifted assignments
TMS Left - Num4 (MFD Left View)
TMS Down - Num1 (Radios View)
TMS Right - Unassigned

DMS Forward - Num5 (Quick HUD View)
DMS Left - Num2 (Tacan, ILS panels View)
DMS Down - Num3 (CDU View)
DMS Right - Num6 (Right MFD View)

*Shifted* CMS -
CMS Forward - H RShft RCntrl (Gain Goggles)
CMS Aft - H RShft RAlt (Gain Goggles Decrease)
CMS z-axis - H RShft (Toggle Goggles)
Use either CMS Left or Right for a Cougar

If you use these assignments then we will be talking about the same physical switches for both Warthogs & Cougars.

Other *shifted* Warthog assignments -
L/G Warn - Gear
Left Throttle Switch - Eject (x3)

Coolie Hat Down/Forward - Num* (Zoom In Slow)
Coolie Hat Left - Num* RShft (Zoom In Fast)
Coolie Hat Up/Aft - Num/ (Zoom Out Slow)
Coolie Hat Right - NumEnter (Zoom Normal)

I also assign my Mic Switch z-axis to '\' to Exit Radio Menu
And Mic Switch Up for TeamSpeak

I tried to get the Cougar Microswitch to act like the Warthog Slew Control but it wouldn't work (?). I am *not* using Foxy for the Cougar - only the DCS A-10C Options/Controller assignments.

Edit Reason: Mic Switch 2 assignments

Looks good WC. Currently, the only thing I have mapped on mine is the pinkie switch for TS. That setup kind of limits me for additional functionality though, so I'll look into what you have and see what I can adapt.

Thanks for the ideas.

I use the Radio Switch up for TeamSpeak since it's the only radio direction not already mapped and well, it's a radio option. smile That should open up your pinky switch to use as a modifier without really losing much functionality.

I started off calling the stick's pinkey switch as "Pinkey". But Panther pointed out that the real Pinkey is on the Throttle for the external lights. See the picture of the throttle in my post, above.

So now I call the stick's switch the Paddle Switch. You don't see it in the picture above because in the Warthog there is not one. So it becomes the perfect switch to use as a Modifier.

Ahh, yeah. I remapped the Pinkey switch (left throttle button) to Landing Gear Toggle on mine. Seemed redundant for AP really for how I fly. Keep the Paddle Switch for lights on mine though, now that I understand how it works!
