I am reaching out to those who still enjoy flying F18, and want to fly it online. Several evenings a week VFA-41 pilots are in the F18 room of Hyperlobby. We fly a closed squad mission on Sunday evenings, but others are invited to fly with us any other time.

We fly using the latest TSH version with Iraq theater installed.

We use ventrilo for inflight comms and can provide comms info through HL.

We try to fly fairly realistically and often base our missions on current real world events.

Our squad has a rep of being closed (we do limit membership) and full of "hard-asses" (yes, some of us are). Membership is limited (one opening at this time) and requires a strong commitment that we do not apologize for. For others tho, we only expect that you know your way around the sim and cockpit, don't try to talk us into changing our ways, and show up prepared to fly (we often leave pilots, myself included, ondeck if they are not ready or have a connection problem).

While our current squad campaign is off the Kola Penninsula, we have also been operating of Libya in support of Operation Odessey Dawn and flying CAS from Bagram AB in Afghanistan. Recently had a brief conflict with Pakistan.
