OK - Falcon AF has arrived, it's the full game - must have been some sort of typo at CEX when they said 'expansion'.
Couple of problems:
The game isn't in widescreen once I start flying even though I've set it to 1440x900.
Track IR is being read, but there's a whole load of lag between my head movements and the movement on the screen - this doesn't happen in other games.
Patch it up to 1.013 if you haven't already - see Lead pursuits site.
No 3D click-able cockpit in this - I disable TIR in 2D pit - and use it in 3D pit only - bit of a pain switching at first - welcome to the 1990s

There were only 3 fully supported resolutions for this - any others you probably end up with black bars on the 2D pit.
There are probably few ways round this - and the original pit builder (Ayes) did some special Widescreen pits also that are on his site
First thing I did before even launching the game was to patch it up.

Damn - it appears you have to pay to get those cockpits - isn't there a way round this without having to shell out? What are the three supported resolutions? And thanks for the heads up re. the 3D cockpit - looks like that'll become my default view.
I was considering the Hi Tiles texture pack for AF, but unless I can get round this issue, it'll just be a waste of money.
I'm considering rebuying F4AF, too. I've played all the missions in FC2 and I tried replaying them. It's not as good the second time around.
That's the problem with linear campaigns! Once you've played them, you know exactly what is going to happen the next time. Give me non-linear, if not fully dynamic, any day.
