I followed this guy’s advice in tweaking services.msc and was pleasantly surprised at how much faster my computer was. I mean, REALLY more responsive. Haven’t tried gaming post-tweaks yet, but general tasks in Windows, opening applications, etc. is massively improved.

Dunno if others will see the same..maybe my system was particularly hobbled by bloat and such prior to this. I am also running a battery of anti-virus, malware, and defragging applications, too.

Well it appeared most of the stuff that is disabled is in fact Bloat.. I mean how many of us use the Bio Metric systems for our PC's..

Damned Bio metrics.will see how it goes tho but most of the stuff they disabled was crap not really needed but read the note to verify if you will use that paticuular service..

Like for instance /I kept remote assistance enabled as In case I would ever need it.. but most is just bloat..

Wow, that is just plain handy to have laid out like that regardless. I shut a lot of things down, but I'm sure I'm not as thorough as this guy. Thanks for sharing, good to have this printed out as well as the .xls.
