This is a photoshop tint of a B/W photo found on Wikipedia.

Thanks for looking and apologies for the tenuous simulator connections.

The Golden Age of Aviation, a fascinating era. Hopefully there will be some kind of successor to Golden Wings for FS 2004 one day.

I'd like to see Golden Wings for the next version of MSFS, not sure if RoF team want to build global maps.

Thank you everybody for all your comments and I'm pleased you like the picture.

The original's about 500% bigger. If anyone would like a copy, let me know and I'll see how to get it hosted. I'm a noob in this respect.

Thank you again everybody and happy simming.

777 can put this in ROF like sort of an easter egg thing, just for us to fly around.

A largely empty global map generated from readily available geodata would be sufficient, but I doubt that the ROF engine supports maps of that scale. It could be later filled with user made scenery just as MSFS works.
