The near future does not hold many titles that appeal to me. For one my PC is outdated, and for PS3 NHL 12 and Battlefield 3 are likely the only for sure buys for me. I will wait and see what COD MW3 brings to the table, but with a lot of the talent fired at IW shortly after MW2's release, I wonder if the product will suffer. Not to mention the COD Premium or whatever its called. Besides I lose interest in the COD games faster than any other, it starts to feel like Unreal Tournament to me.

Oh, Uncharted 3 is a must buy too, the first 2 were great games.

Momentarily I'm only really looking forward to Lego Harry Potter Years 5-7 on PS3.
Uncharted 3 looks definitely pretty good too. Haven't played the first two though. Just judging by the pictures.
I have to say that Deus Ex HR looks interesting as well (might have something to do with the fact that I've just finished Daemon by Daniel Suarez). But I'm still skeptical if the game can really live up to the expectations.
Unfortunately, the PC version is secured by Steam, which I don't support. But I'll keep an eye on this title nonetheless and look out for the first critics.

what do we know about RAGE? SP/coop/MP? I had no interest and haven't been following it... but watching some gameplay, looks fun... but then again BULLETSTORM was fun for 2 weeks, and now no one plays it. lol

So, it appears new flight sim's (games) for the Xbox are non-existant? IL-2, Ace Combat and Apache AS are good, but they never did achieve PC quality even with the Saitek-modded HOTAS. Perhaps the next gen system, whenever that is (Xbox 360 coming up on six years old).
