I'm a bit confused as to how Patrick's campaign integrates with the main game (I generated a new mission, yet when I went back into RoF, the same mission I'd just seen was still there), so I'm playing the official Beta campaign for now. Thing is, three missions in and I've not been attacked by any planes - I've seen a few milling around and we've been going after balloons a lot - they're supposed to swarm all over you when you go after their balloons aren't they? smile Also, Fokker Eindeckers seem to have disappeared and it's only October 1916 - I'm sure they were still hanging around a bit by then?

When you generate a new mission it is found in your missions folder. Before creating one I usually go into the folder and move the old mission out into another folder named after the pilot. Some of these missions have been really fun, and I've imagined making some mission campaigns for others.

If you think you're flying the same mission, you might be, check the date. Make sure it advances. Although sometimes I have seen consecutive missions where the flight path was eerily similar. FYI: Pat's generator is not without bugs as well, but I still love it...

Is there a way to have PW generator use the autumn textures for the appropriate months? I've already added the F2B to the appropriate squadrons, but this is one thing I don't know how to do.

PW's generator is still better than the career mode in some ways, especially the patrol altitudes and the proportion of mission types.

I'm afraid we'll have to wait for Patrick to do it... sigh
I agree, RoF CG is more immersive than the Official Career beta. thumbsup
If you ever find some time Pat...

I don't understand how the mission outcome is sent to the campaign generator. I flew the mission it generated for me - which was great by the way - a balloon attack mission, but unlike the beta campaign, there were two EIIIs flying top cover for the balloon and there were also allied two seaters; I've never seen one of those in the beta. But when I finished the mission and went back to the generator, it was still showing zero missions and zero victories. Do you have to quit out of RoF to generate each mission, or is it sufficient to simply alt-tab out?

When an ordinary facepalm simply won't do. I've just trawled the thread and have discovered the version I'm trying to use is completely out of date in any case! The OP really should be updated with the latest version. smile

OK, maybe I can get it to work properly now...

Edit: Time compression only seems to work to slow things down - speeding up time is definitely not working for me - how do I fix that?

Edit: The rate of fire on the Nieuport 11 seems to be really slow, especially in comparison with the vanilla game.
