Just bought REX V2.0 today, via download which is kinda nice! I am most impressed with it so far and can defineatly see why ppl love the program so much.

Just wondering if anyone has any tips for a newbie? Does the program add any planes, as when I first chose create a flight plan, there was the option to choose a plane, and there were lots there that I don't have as part of my FSX hangar.

i noticed that about the planes Cpt Canada,think you have to have the planes installed but im a newbie too so hopefully the more ex guys will give us an answer,ive printed the manual out and am slowly going over it but a lot to take in along with some other new dloads ive bought, all good fun though,hope you enjoy it:)

I have version ending in 1027, not sure if I can install the OD patch, as the website seems to state that I can't?

My version of REX ends in 1027 and the website states that I am not able to install the free OD addon? Some ppl on the forums there say that they are able to.

So, can install the OD patch on version 1027 of REX v2.0?

Go to the support board, there are instructions about how to patch which version before upgrading.

yes my version which i bought a week ago is 1027 and yes you can install overdrive ontop,

I believe 1027 (my version) is required for Overdrive. So it has to be compatible. I have Overdrive.

Just picked this up myself yesterday - oh yes, I am a believer now.
Very good value for money. The weather generator especially is just....well...WOW!
