A few hot off the press from Yeovilton today. A brilliant, brilliant airshow. Loved every minute of it.

Cheers

There's some Vulcanicity there. Got to love the Sea Vixen, where else does the navigator live in a coal hole in the fuseulage?

Very cool! I'd love to see a selection of aircraft like that, and you've captured them well.

The Vulcan and Sea Vixen was something special. I'm not overly sentimental about the Vulcan (although it looks and sounds wonderful) but the Sea Vixen is something special to me, especially its meaning in British Aviation and the lineage from the DH110.

The Polish MiG was a treat. Looked and sounded beautiful.

Yeovilton is a wonderful show, possibly the best I've been to. I'm between moving apartments at the moment, but will edit more images shortly.

Cheers

Excellent photos.

I have some great memories of Yeovilton but the last time we went (final display by the Harriers that were based there) it was very expensive and poorly organised. The queues were silly and the Harriers display quite muted. It spoiled what could have been a superb day.

Hopefully things have improved now.

A few more. The weather was on/off most of the morning, but it was all good fun.

Thanks! It was a great spectacle. Made one appreciate just how large the Sea Vixen is too!
