As another tidbit from E3, Planetside 2 has just picked up 6 nominations for Game of the Show and is apparently the highlight of the Sony booth..

Come on guys, warfare on a massive scale, hundreds of players as Infantry, driving tanks and flying aircraft, Free to buy and play and with gameplay as tactical as you want it because of a fully fledged command and squad structure.

Not all Sci Fi style settings are bad. Don't think this is a Halo clone.. It really isn't, it has much more in common with Battlefield 3 just on a much, much more massive, permanant scale..

Beta keys are being handed out but no beta as yet.. within a week or 2 is the rumour though.
