ok just tried dusseldorf in rex hit fly now then changed airport to dusseldorf in fsx,hit fly now on the tarmac no text saying rex weather loading like it did with gatwick???

Try opening the weather-engine (on my system the little icon sits on the taskbar when REX is running in the background) and hit "load weather" there.

Wish I could be more helpful but I won't return home until next week. I'm am American, but I've been wandering the streets of Rome, Italy, for the past several days, and I have only a non-gaming laptop with me.
