Overall I've still enjoyed Shift2, it runs ok if you have a good video card/cpu (it really likes my crossfire combo)... the main pluses compared to Shift1 IMHO is more cars and tracks (especially with legends DLC), better FF, night racing, the AI seems less suicidal etc.

I agree RK, probably not worth upgrading from Shift1 + mods for most unless they have a decent sim rig or can find it on bargain bin prices (was avail for $18 a few weeks ago).

Overall I still think it's biggest weakness like Shift1 was the compromised physics, it's ok for a fun game but even FM3 and GT5 have better car physics IMHO and are better overall games.

Still it is pretty fun on the PC when not in a hardcore sim mood, on consoles I would pass on it.
