I'm really surprised the joystick manufacturers haven't stepped up to the plate and brought out a contender for the MS FFB2's throne.
So what is the reason that other joystick manufacturers can't get it right or simply don't bother? Does the MS stick use some sort of patented technology the others don't want to pay for? Why haven't
CH Products given it a go? What puts them off doing it?
There must be a heap of guys queuing up for a viable replacement, I'm sure some money could be made out of this.
1C:Maddox threw the FFB together in COD as a quick patch and haven't fixed any of the bugs since.
My only real problem with FFB in COD is that the bf109 cannon force is far too strong when I have "Realistic gunnery" enabled, when I turn it off the cannon is normal, no other planes (e.g. bf110) have this problem.
