I got to meet Bruce Boxleitner, Cary Elwes and Alexis Cruz today and they are all very approachable and friendly guys. I'll post some pics later tonight.

Did you have a chance to chat with Mr. Boxleitner? what did you two talk about?

I knew he was going to get mostly questions about Tron and Babylon 5 so I asked him about his role as General Longstreet in "Gods & Generals". He mentioned that he is quite the history buff and that in July the cast of "Gods & Generals" will be having a special event in Virginia to commemorate the bluray release of the movie.

Very cool! If terrorists wanted to disrupt the IT infrastructure of the South Eastern U.S., my guess is all they'd need to do is blow up the convention center where this is being held - they'd end up taking out 9/10s of the IT personnel in the region...

Haha, I'd say that's quite an accurate stereotype. There are a bunch of guys at my university IT department who are sci-fi fans.

I don't see any sci-fi or comic book material in Cary Elwes filmography. Why was he there?

He was a frequent guest star during the final season of the X-Files.

He was also in "The Princess Bride", "Robin Hood Men in Tights" and a number of things. It sounds like a fairly general con so if they have a horror track then the list gets a lot longer. I used to attend the trekkies cons in Orlando and Tampa but now I am looking at the big guns like DragonCon (Georgia) and ComicCon (California).

I would love to go to DragonCon and ComicCon. It's just a matter of getting the vacation time and the money.

Not "Who are you?" or "What do you want?". Sure he doesn't get those *ever* ha ha. Cool to hang out with these guys.

Thanks wheels, I had a good time! There were some nice looking babes in some revealing cosplay outfits but I didn't get around to photographing those.

I would've asked "Why weren't you a regular on Seinfeld?"
I'm sure that would've been the first time he heard that one.
