I was out in the yard trying to take a few pictures of some Goldfinches (they left about the time I went inside to get my camera) when I heard the unmistakable sound of a formation flight. I just had a moment to look up and snap a few quick shots with the settings I was on (sorry no prop blur).

Oops.

Olympus PEN E-PL1 with a Vivitar 75-300mm on a Fotodiox OM Adapter at f5.6

It appeared to be some sort of check-out or type qualification flight. Any ideas what the one marked TS KS is?

Interesting. And I think that's a Piper Lance II with it, which I don't believe is that common either.

I hadn't though to look into the Piper Cherokee.

It's Owned By The Air Force?
