Cannon did the skin.
I just distributed it.
I have fun with it offline. I would never take it online since I can't fly worth a hoot. Now if I was "all that" I might be mischievous enough to try it.

I've seen another Hello Kitty skin and I used to have it for the Go-229. I saw it in a skin contest thread at Good Old Games a couple of years ago.
Wheels
Edit:
Lol, I forgot it won the contest.

http://www.gog.com/en/forum/general/il_2_sturmovik_1946_plane_skin_contest_update/post1If you're a combat simulation veteran and you have design skills then this contest is made for you. In the IL-2 Sturmovik™: 1946 game folder you'll find skins for all planes available in the game (default path is /Program Files/GOG.com/IL-2 Sturmovik 1946/PaintSchemes/Skins). Your task is to create your own skin for the plane of your choice and send it to users@gog.com by Thursday, April 2 at 11:59 p.m. EDT. The best skin will be chosen by GOG.com's Design Team and the author of this masterpiece will be awarded with a free game from GOG.com's catalogue. We'll announce the lucky winner in the community update news on Saturday, April 4. You have to own the game on GOG.com to enter the contest. Good luck and don't forget to make a copy of the original skin

.
EDIT: Saturday has come and that means we have to pick a winner.
And that winner is... ElPixelIlustre, with just a little bit of help from his girlfriend.
If you read through the entire thread you will see that ElPixelIlustre changed his username to Andresito_epi.
Here is a link to the 4 skins that he uploaded to imageshack. Only one of them is a Hello Kitty skin.
