OK, a couple of more questions for the X-series knowledgeable folks...

I found info in the X3 sticky that X3 Terran Conflict has all the patches available to go from v1.01 up to v2.6,v2.7 or v3.0 any of which will remove the DRM from the game (as long as I do not run the game before installing the patch to remove the DRM).

However, I do not see any patches or info on the X3 Gold Reunion download. I assume this game being a bit older already has the DRM removed as it sold now as part of the X3 Gold?

None that I know of, but I got X3TC on Steam so it might be different if you got a disc.
I don't remember any in X3:R, come to think of it, which was a disc for me.
