Hi you two. I think you guys and me are about the only ones here running Shift1 with Juls Sharper Tyres mod?

I have a question regarding one specific car, the BMW M3 GT2 (ALMS).

This car feels, after applying the mod, like it has paper-thin rear tyres. I get a lot of wheelspin on acceleration (out of turns) as well as it seems easy to lock up the rear under braking where it will come forward and try to bite me. Both point to a rather non-grippy rear.

Do you have a handle on this car for it to be actually useful? I really have a hard time knowing if the mod screwed it up, or perhabs it may just be the most realistic of the bunch. Feels a lot like the problems I had with GTL, actually a nice challenge, but I can't catch even the easiest AI in it.

Thanks for helping me out

RS

I'm running the Overhaul mod and also Juls IIRC.
The GT2 to me is one of the most fun cars, although not as fast as the Aston or Zonda R. I get a lot less wheelspin with it I noticed after recording some runs. A little slower but grippier IMO.
The Overhaul mod takes care of a lot of issues, I'd drop that in there to make it even better.
I do think there's more tire noise in the GT2 on replays, but not during gameplay.

Apologies for that 3rd to last turn, still trying to nail that after flat out up to that point. LOL

GT2, grippy:

Zonda R, terrifying:

Nice driving Kryptonite, I haven't dialed my new GT2 in for Shift1 or 2 yet, hopefully I will get a chance to check that out this weekend and I will let you know.
