Been running WIN7 for almost a week now. My daily checking of 'things' to get familiar looks like WIN7 isn't making a daily 'routine' Restore Point..... as VISTA does {in my computers}. Thinking maybe the default restore 'space' might be too small, I upped it to 200 GB! {Tera-Byte HD here...in fact, the smallest available on this computer!}

Any info?

By default it should make a restore point daily at midnight. You can check it in the Task Scheduler (search for it in the start menu). Browse through the folders in the Scheduler to Microsoft\Windows\SystemRestore. Under the Triggers tab, it should say Daily at 12:00AM.

Ummm... Midnight. Good enough. Thanks... and I'll confirm the Scheduler. Next week I'm running my Recovery DVD set on it's Maiden Voyage... to make sure they work. Maybe THAT will pep it up a little.....

Yup.... must be another thing where they think you run the rig all the time! I changed my 'time' to 0600. That is a little after I get up and boot up things. Oughta do the trick.

Thanks for the tip!
