Black Bean Games has confirmed WRC 2, the official videogame of the 2011 FIA World Rally Championship, is set for release in October 2011.

"Cars in the game will be from the 1960s all the way up to current WRC models." I just hope they don't mess that up.

Never did get WRC for pc, I know it didn't come out on 360. The pc demo didn't speak very well for it.
Maybe this one will work out better.

Yeah, seems Ubisoft will publish this? I'm not thrilled, Blackbean was very lenient on copy protection / DRM (no bother at all). UBI might have different ideas.

LOL. Yeah, that's about what I meant...

Also, unless I'm forgetting something, I don't know of any UBI title that is a current decent racer? EA has Shift, Codemasters have F1 and Dirt. UBI would be looking to go into that market (sim-light/arcade dudebro crap) and while many are critical of Milestone/Blackbean titles, one thing they can never be accused of is to cater to the arcade crowd. UBI might push for a change in that direction, delivering a laugh of a game that has more bloom and motion blur than realism or truth in it.
